Greetings! Reflecting back as far as I can remember, as a child I was taught to wish upon a star for one’s dreams. It’s an old wise tale that says if one finds the brightest star in the night sky and wish upon it, that person’s wish’ld come true. My parents died at an early age leaving us orphaned and poor as African American kids in a small, conservative European-descent dominated city. This experience scarred much of my youth and early adulthood; so yes, I did a lot of wishing upon stars…
During my early adult life, I was ignorant on how to design, as well as sustain a different and quality way of life – one where I didn’t see myself broken (reflected in my early writings). It wasn’t until I was in my thirties that I was introduced to such ‘how to live a fulfilling life’ consciousness tools as Landmark Education,TM, Unity Church, and energy vibrational healing.
My life mission, as a result, became that of re-awakening others to these internalized tools, ones that teach how ‘consciousness/*energy vibration frequencies create life styles/values’. My oldest sister Harriette was my loving and powerful mentor, as well as my sidekick, during these early hugely metamorphic growth stages.
Poem recitals, published and shared writings, geometrical-designed ‘signature’ artworks (appearing in both Atlanta and NY venues) and coaching spirituality and ancient wisdom/Christ-iam-ity principles were my re-awakening vehicles. Each vehicle removed layers/masks of ignorance, trauma and became the soul ‘so-ur-cerer’ of a wholesome and fulfilling lifestyle. This defining and ‘impeccable’ level of spirituality (and/or Christ-iam-ity) has healed my past; journeying me to a fulfilling lifestyle. I’ld love hearing about your healing journey.
